    Airheads,

As you might already know the Yik Yak app has been stirring a bit of controversy in the education space.

I was wondering if any of you have blocked it at a Wi-Fi network level and if so how?

I realize that you can probably request Yik Yak to block it from working on your campus if you have it geo-fenced but we would like to block it from our internal network to prevent being liable for any messages that come from our IP address space.

Do you have any other ideas on the matter?

    Thanks

If you google "yik yak firewall" there are plenty of ideas on how to do this.  Maybe others can chime in on how they have done it.

I've seen somewhere else that you just block yikyakapp.com
