We are having an odd issue where users that have devices that only connect on 2.4 Ghz.  Those clients will load web pages but it is extremely slow.  If clients that contain a 5 Ghz wireless card connect on a 2.4 band they do not have any trouble loading the same web pages.  Is anybody else expereincing this?

What AOS? What model AP? Do you have LACP enabled?

We are running AOS 6.4.2.7 on 130 and 220 series APs.  We have witnessed the issue on AP 134/135 and AP 225.  LACP is active.  We are running 4 m3 local controllers in dual mode with a single 3600 acting as master.

What are the clients you mention?

What is the power of the AP on the 5ghz and on the 2.4ghz at the time?

    When did this start happening?

The clients are students with Laptops that are a mix of brands and operating systems.  I know that one is an HP and another is a Toshiba.  At least two are running Atheros wireless cards (I don't recall exactly which card or driver revision).  We have seen the issue on laptops running Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.

On the 5Ghz the power has a min of 3 and a max of 12.  The 2.4 has a min of 9 and a max of 15.  Client match is turned on for both radios.

We first noticed the issue on August 22nd.  We have been seeing the issue for a couple weeks.  When the issue first occured we thought it was one isolated client but we have now seen several cases.

You should open a case with TAC, if you have not already.  You have not offered enough specific information for us to guess what is your problem here.
