A smart building is an instrumented structure in which applications are cognizant of the contextual status of the environment, occupants, energy requirements, service needs, security, and safety.

Aruba has a number of partnerships with IoT vendors that offer smart building solutions that connect to and leverage the Aruba infrastructure.

EnOcean is pleased to be part of this and create hyper-aware buildings.   using a USB adapter into the AP you can bring in thousands of IoT devices, many of them without batteries, completely self powered.   details: www.enocean.com/aruba
