7.2 End-of-Support Device List

In 7.2, support for the following devices will be removed during the 7.1 upgrade a check will warn users if any of these devices are present on the server. The upgrade will continue if the devices are present, but they must be removed in order to upgrade later to 7.2.

Enterasys RoamAbout AP2000 and R2
Intel 2011 and 2011B
3Com 8750
Proxim/Lucent AP 500, AP 1000, and WavePOINT II
NEC Pasolink


In 7.2, configuration support for the following devices will be removed; during the 7.1 upgrade a check will warn users if the devices are present on the server. Monitoring support for these devices will remain.

Cisco Aironet 4800
Proxim/Avaya 2000, 4000, 4000M, 4000MR, 4000MR-LR, 4900M, 4900MR-LR
Motorola WiAP200M
Proxim Tsunami PTMP Family: Tsunami MP.11 and QuickBridge.11 devices
LANCOM/Hirschmann L-54ag, L-54g, IAP-54, OAP-54, BAT54-Rail
Nomadix HSG, AG-2100, AG-2100w, AG-3000, AG-5000

In 7.1, support for the following devices has been removed. A warning will appear during the upgrade process if any of these devices are present; they must be removed for the upgrade to continue. The devices can be added again as a Universal Network Device:

Original Apple Airport (1999-2001)
Compaq WL-400
Funkwerk Artem Compoint
Proxim WiMAX base stations and subscriber units
