Does Airwave collects VisualRF backup as a part if nightly backup?



A:

The nightly backup file generated as a part of nightly maintenance contains the VRF backup as well.

 

Starting 8.2.0, Airwave collects a standalone VRF backup file. We can download it from CLI.

 

We can use SCP to download the file from - /var/airwave-backup/visualrf.

NOTE: Airwave only stores one copy of the file which is generated daily.
