How to configure read only access on Airwvave

This article talks about difference between Read only role and Read/Write role on AMP


Environment : This applies to all versions of Airwave.


If AP/Devices Access Level is selected as “Audit (Read only)” then user has:



No access to the AP/Devices’ Manage Page.
-No access to Trigger.


However, in Manage Read/Write user has -

Access to the Triggers.
-Access to Mange devices.


In any of the Access Level if the Role has Visual RF and RAPIDS in Read only mode, then the users falling in the Role cannot Move or Edit Visual RF or RAPIDS. They will only have the visual access.
