Unknown COM error occurred

Problem: "Unknown COM error occurred" in AWSP.

Solution: This is usually an indication of some kind of an environmental/setup problem. The most common cause is the wrong version of .NET. AWSP 5.0 and earlier require .NET 1.1. If you have any other versions you can:

1. Uninstall other versions of AWSP, and make sure that 1.1 is installed.
2. Reinstall AWSP. 

In almost all cases, this will resolve the problem.
