Why some APs does not display the correct hardware model on Airwave

Jan 10, 2017 11:21 AM

Q:

Why does some of the CISCO APs shows as Aironet 1000 and Motorola APs AP-100 even though their model is different

A:

Airwave will pick up the model for CISCO APs as Aironet 1000 and Motorola APs as AP-100 when the model of the APs are not supported on Airwave. When Airwave receives the AP model from these devices with a model not listed on Airwave's catalog it will by default mark the CISCO APs as Aironet 1000 and Motorola APs as AP-100.
