AirWave Firewall Access

    Can anyone point me to what ports and services are needed between Aruba controllers and AirWave? I can find documentation between controllers etc but not AirWave

    udp 161/162 for snmp, tcp 18192 for amon

    Amon is UDP 8211,  Syslog is also sent to Airwave on UDP 514

    Airwave also needs to SSH into the controller on port 22.

    Also, Airwave has the ability of downloading an upgrade image directly as part of an upgrade process with the command:

     

    start_amp_upgrade -v

     

    Does anybody know which URL, protocols and ports are used for the connection and download?

    Thank you Venu,

     

    Unfortunately, that is not the answer I was looking for. The list does not show any particular URL userd by the AMP server when downloading an upgrade image nor does it state which proocol or ports are used during the online upgrade.

     

    Hopefully, somebody will post with the answer soon.

    Hi Friend,

     

    It uses HTTPS and will contact and download the updates from support.arubanetworks.com
