Hey Guys.

Im trying to install a fresh version of Airwave 8, virtually (VMWare - 4g mem, 40g hard).

Im getting an error when installing CentOS.

If I continue on through this I run into another error.

Has anyone encountered this? What was the solution?

You need to install AirWave from boot, by booting off the ISO. You cannot install it from within CentOS. There is no desktop environment with AirWave. It boots off the CD/ISO, installs CentOS, then installs AirWave.

Did you try to install Centos yourself?  Neither package you reference are in a regular install.

It looks like the Kickstarter script for Centos didn't run.  You should not have to choose anything.

For simplicity, you should download the pre-built VM.

No I didnt try to install CentOS alone. I am using the .zip file from support site.

For the installation followed he steps i usually use.

1. create blank vm

2. boot newly created vm from Airwave iso

I have never used / wasnt aware of a template VM.

I hit the same problem when i follow the same step below

1. create blank vm

2. inside creating VM wizard - installer disc image i point to AMP.iso

3. Power on this virtual hardware after creation

4. hit the same error 

I able to install airwave if i did not choose disc image when i creating the VM

1. create blank vm

2. inside creating VM wizard - choose i will install the os later

after the Blank VM is created then i load the ISO into the cd drive 

now airwave can install as normal

Please deploy the VMware OVF file.
