Hello,

We previously used a bash backup script to push the airwave backup-files to an external scp server by cli. After the airwave 8.2.4.1 update the backup stopped and the CLI is not available. 

We now use AirWave Management Platform 8.2.4.1 version.

How do wi fix this and automatically backup again to a external scp server?

Can it be done by GUI??

You can configure off-box backups via the CLI menu (console/SSH):

4) Backup

2) Configure Automatic Transfer

1) Set Destination

Backup Destination (user@host:path): user@scpserver:/backup/airwave/

Password:<password>

Also check the Airwave User Guide, Appendix B.

During the installation, you should have set a username (where the default is ampadmin) and a password. Use those to login and get into the menu where you can configure the backups. Starting Airwave 8.2.4, it is no longer possible to login as root, as that popped up as a security issue during audits all the time.

We had this working, then replaced the target server. Now Airwave says it sees an unknown RSA key in the ssh session (makes sense) but there's no menu item (that I can find) to tell Airwave to accept the new key or to disregard the old one.

Anyone know how to reset that key?
