Airwave Topology view support Dell switches?

  • 1.  Airwave Topology view support Dell switches?

    can anyone tell me if airwave 8.2.7.1 supports Dell 1548 switches for viewing in topology view. I can add them as a generic router/switch and can see lldp information but wont show under topology, yet i can add an old HP procurve 2910 switch and this shows up instantly in topology view.  I have the switches enabled with snmp v2 pointing to airwave as a trap. I have also tried snmp v1 with the same results.

    Hi,

     

    Are you seeing switch neigbour information in device monitor page and switch details in neighbour list of device which are directly connected to switch in Airwave?

     

    We are having topology enhancments in coming new release 8.2.8 which will be out in couple of days, I would recommand to upgrade and check if issue still persist open TAC ticket.

    i have lldp information in switch neigbour but under a AP which is directly connected to the switch i have no neigbour information. happy to wait for 8.2.8 to see if it makes a change.
