Hi Community,
My customer has an Airwave server attached.
Version 8.2.6.1

We then have an IAP cluster (IAP 305 with 6.5.4.6) under system / admin / Airwave
entered the appropriate data.
Naming name for Org
IP of the Airwave server
and any password.

After a short time, the IAP Cluster also appeared in Airwave under New.

So marked and added with the default values.

This also worked smoothly.

Then I changed the cluster from Monitor only to Read / Write and on
"enable Instant Gui Config"

Changes confirmed and good.

If I now go to the group and click on Instant Config, an error message appears.

"Group not Found with id (2), group maybe removed or creating, please wait a moment and retry"

even after 30 minutes nothing happened and it comes only this error message.
There are 2 entries under GROUP. A default entry of the access points is called and my entry.

Where do I make a mistake?

Try creating a new group -> enable IGC from the basic tab first, then move the IAP and VC entries into that group.

It may have been an issue during the initial bootstrap of the IGC templates when enabling from the original group.

Then enable ICG

Then press Instant Config
Same Failure

The steps need to be rearranged.  Enable IGC before moving the devices into the group.  I think it's a race condition in the background of the code.

hm... do you also have a support case opened?  I'll follow up to see if QA can reproduce, but we might benefit from having a support case where support collects the logs as well.

Hi,

Once devcie is added to airwave in montior mode you dont need to put the device to manage/read write mode again, if you are planning to use IGC feature, by enabling IGC we can push the configuration. IGC mode uses https to push the config not SSH protocol.

Can you provide the support case number?  We think there may be an issue in the IGC database, but can't be sure unless we can see a backup or the actual server through a support connection.  If we can link up with the case owner, we can probably help get this resolved sooner.

after open a Case on Thursday i receive a call from a Technical support engineer 

We have a remote session and in the End she told me that the Customer have reserved only 2 core instead of 6

So after  my Customer fixed the Problem i test today and the ICG is funktion very well.
