Airwave initial setup

    I have an eval Airwave server and would like to monitor a small Aruba wireless network.  i have been searching for documentation but cannot fing what I am looking for.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    If you have the OVF file, just launch the console in vSphere and it should startup with a quick install wizard.  Once that is done, you can then just web to the UI.

    See attached for the OSI deployment if you need a review, old but a good reference.

     

    I don't recall if the below still applies to the latest AMP install but it wouldn't hurt to stop it

     

    >service smartd stop

    >chkconfig smartd off

     

    What's not included is setting the controller or IAP data to the Airwave (logging, SNMP and AMON) - this you can review in the Aruba user guides.
