Minondas,
I'm just a little confused. I think I understand the concept, but I'm not grasping the commands.
Let me see if I can help you help me.
I have to do this by making the secondary IP address, one on the same VLAN as the switch's primary VLAN. Here is what exists:
SW06 - VLAN1 - 10.20.61.253/16 - SW06s Def. G-way is 10.20.61.1/16
I need to add 10.20.62.2 as the secondary address, before I do I have to disconnect the device that has that address.
VLAN1 is named VLAN1.
All ports are properly tagged at this time, and the IP Address is assigned to the VLAN.
So, do I then just have to enter the following?
router vrrp
virtual-ip-ping
ipv4 enable
exit
!
vlan 1
ip igmp
vrrp vrid 1
virtual-ip-address 10.20.62.2
enable
exit
Thank you for your assistance, and patience.
David
