    Hi all,

     

    i am using Airwave to send an email alert when a device is down for 10 minutes and its working like it should. When we receive the alert however, only the MAC address of the VC is added.

    We have over 150 IAPs in 150 sites in one group, with all accesspoints renamed to their location. But the name of the AP is NOT in the alert mail - only the mac address of the VC.


    Is there a way we can have the name of the AP added to the alert email ?

    Great idea.  Unfortunately the alert doesn't allow for changes to the resulting message.  But the alert link should guide you back to the offending device.  Also, it'd be a great feature request to make.
