Clarity Live question?

    Is Clarity Live still an option if Im running the latest release (8.2.8.1)

    I no longer have the option under HOME/Clarity to select between Live and Synthetic? To be fair we have jumped several major versions to get here so it might have been discontinued and I never noticed....

    Synthetic has been deprecated. Live still exists.

    While Live is still present, I was informed formally that Synthetic will no longer be developed. Aruba's preferred solution for this is the Cape sensors (rebranded), which is annoying as Clarity Synthetic was built into the Airwave platform in terms of GUI, data sources (APs) and also license cost while the Cape product requires separate hardware sensors, separate subscriptions, and a separate dashboard.
