    Firmware upgrade error, Version 6.1.3.13 to version 6.2.1.2, the Aruba Controller Say: You need to use old version of firmware.

    What is the exact error message?

    What is the controller platform?

    From the screenshot, I see you have a 3200. The (original) 3200 runs only firmware up to ArubaOS 6.1.

     

    Check http://www.arubanetworks.com/support-services/end-of-life/#MobilityControllers then search for 3200 (without additions).

     

    There is an upgrade kit available (3200-MEM-UG / Aruba 3200 Controller 1GB memory upgrade kit) that gives your 3200 the needed amount of memory, and make it equivalent to the 3200XM, to run firmware up to (and including) 6.4.x. ArubaOS 6.4 will be the last supported firmware for the 3200 controller serie.
