I want to use these users for guest access with IAP

AirWave's guest user accounts are not supported on Instant.

AirWave 7.7.5 will be out very soon and includes a new UI that mimicks the Instant WebUI.  You can configure users for the Guest DB on Instant there.  Not the same thing you are looking for but it is the next best thing :)

Is this feature slated for an upcoming release?  With Instant/AirWave deployments, having global guest management as well as self-expiring guest accounts is a must-have.

if it is indeed part of 7.7.5 then it should be possible now, that version has been out for a while, did you check?

I have tried 7.7.8/9 and it is possible to create guest users in the vitual controller GUI managment.  The problem is that it is site by site and is very limited for a Guest Administrator to be able to create accounts on the fly.   It would be great, since all the interface is already there, to be able to use the Guest Management in AirWave and have it replicate those guest accounts to all Virtual Controllers managed.

using 8.0.9 and same problem here , just wondered if it's possible to centralize creatitng guest users on groups or all VC's , but my test user is also having status "pending". 

perhaps cause i dont have controllers added to AMP , only VC/instants...

so lets do this via IGC per group based, i also would expect that "john doe" only needs to be added on one branch instead of all branches , <- useless if this is a normal guest which is never visiting those branches. 

well another use case would be if having users frequently visiting those branches and so branch1 and branch2 would sync regarding guest users.

Does anything changed wit this funcionality? I need to time limited ticked for my guest users connecting via IAP.
