IMC Update 7.2-7.3 (E0605P) Backup-Error / DBMAN

    Hi @ all,

    I have upgraded the IMC from 7.2 to 7.3 incl. patch (iMC PLAT 7.3 (E0605P04))
    but my backup is not running anymore.

    The IMC runs on a Windows 2008 server (192.168.160.38)
    , the DB on a SQL Server also 2008 (192.168.160.39).

    After the patch, I started the "installslave" from the IMC (on the SQL server) to patch the DBman. The backup should be on the SQL server (was also so before the update).

     Everything went right before the update:

    But he does not do a backup.

    Does somebody has any idea????

    The manual backup goes (so local to the IMC server)

    but if I plan it (under Configure) I get that in the debug-log

    Hi,

     

    you should not need to run installslave after update. Just starting the existing "Deployment Monitoring Agent" on the database server should be enough. While starting first time after update on DB Server you should get a message similar to "updating common components".

     

    For the rest of your issue I recommend opening a case. (I assume you tried to reconfigure backup whikle running Deployment Montitoring Agent on IMC Server with administrative rights. This is state in update documentation.)
