RTLS config to non-Airwave collector

We're being asked to provide RTLS data for research on campus. There is a server being configured to receive RTLS packets. I see where I configure RTLS on the controller side.

There is a post I found that contains the following quote:

"Note: The packets are transmitted from the AP to the controller and then to Airwave. If the APs are sending the packets directly to Airwave then we need to ensure port 5050 is open in terms of communication with Airwave"

    https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Monitoring-Management-Location/How-to-enable-RTLS-on-Airwave-and-controller/ta-p/185830

My question sis how can I configure the APs to send the packets directly the non-Airwave RTLS colector instead of going through the controller? This sounds like it would reduce processing overhead on the controllers.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

In the AP system profile, there is a field for the IP address of a rtls collector.
