Is there a report in Airwave (AMP 7.6.4) that can correlate the LAN MAC, Radio 1 MAC, Radio 2 MAC, ESSID's and BSSID's?

So you just want a list of those attributes for each AP?

Thats correct Tim. All the mentioned attributes in a single report that can be run daily for the durutaion of the roll-out phase of a project.

Those attributes don't appear to be available in any of the report types for Access Points. This sounds like it would be a feature request to make those available in the inventory report for the AP device type.

This is good for all managed APs.  Not sure on any rogues as they will not show up in this report.

Go to Reports --> Definitions --> Add and choose custom.  Select the item from the screen below.  That should do it.  Additional filters are below this screen on that page.

    Another way:

    Go to APs/Devices list page

Go to folder 'Top' (or a level that encompasses all devices you're looking into)

Click the link next to the folder drop down for 'expand folders to show all APs/Devices'

Then above the device list table, customize the columns using 'choose columns' -> remember to click 'save' at top of the list when you have the columns you want / in the order you want

Then next to 'choose columns' is 'export CSV' -> this will give you a CSV file of the data which you can put into spreadsheet doc

This does change the user view that you've logged in as, so if you want to save yourself some time from resetting your column viewing preferences, create a temporary admin account that you can delete after you get the CSV you want.

Thanks for the suggestions but this only provides the LAN MAC, Radio 1- and -2 MAC. ESSIS's and BSSID's not listed.AP info from MC.PNG.

Above highlighted is the information from the controller for a single AP. This method will be very time consuming in a large AP deployment scenario and it still lack all attributes together in a single file.  Since the BSSID's might change after a power down cycle or a reset, the information will not stay current if exported to a CSV file.

Below is the CSV file for the specific AP indicating the LAN MAC, 1st- & 2nd Radio MAC addresses.AMP info from device report .PNG

Will investigate CLI commands today on the MC in order to see if there is a way to combine info into a single CSV file.

    Update:

The following article indicate how the BSSID is derived from the MAC addresses. https://arubanetworkskb.secure.force.com/pkb/articles/HowTo/R-386

Thus I will use the "Inventory: Device" report  from Airwave to correlate the recorded BSSID's with the 1st- and 2nd Radio MAC's.

    BSSID's ending on 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 indicate 1st Radio.

    BSSID's ending on 8,9,a,b,c,d,e,f indicate 2nd Radio.

    Any other suggetions are welcome.

This command from the AMP cli might help:

    dbc "select a.name as ap_name, a.lan_mac, r.radio_mac, b.bssid from ap a, ap_radio r, bssid b where a.id = r.ap_id and r.id = b.ap_radio_id order by a.name"

That includes all possible BSSIDs for an AP, regarless of whether they're being used or not.

On some APs there is are 16 MACs on each radio and on those

it is whether the next to last octet is odd.

This worked for me and provided me what I needed. In my case, I have to put the AP names into a spreadsheet and import thae data into a Fluke AirCheck meter. Having both radio MACs is a huge start.

    Thanks for the advice.
