Unable to delete device Airwave

    Hi have problem deleting on device in Airwave. I get Scheduled Event is present for this device Sceduled Events.

     

    How do to remove the event and remove the device?

    If you're the admin, you should be able to cancel out that schedule task from the scheduled events page.  If not, please open a support case so that TAC can provide assistance.

    I'm admin. The problem is that I can't find the schedueled task. Where should it be?

    If you have scheduled config/firmware job, you can delete the event from system>configuration change job or system >firmware upgrade job.

    Hi,
    I have now jobs under system>configuration change job or system >firmware upgrade job.

    I can see a "Configuration change submitted" in Event log but the switch in is offline.

    If switch shows down in airwave after configuraiton push then we need to check switch running configuraiton and last configuraiton recevied from airwave to find why device went offline.

     

    if you want to delete the device from Airwave then you can do it from APs/Devcies>Manage page.

    In the above message Sceduled Events. is a hyper link. If you click on that you should be able to see the scheduled events for that device.

    Put the problem is that there are no jobs under

    Configuration Change Jobs

    Firmware Upgrades Jobs or

    DRT Upgrade Jobs

     

    it's test switch that I think they have tested running jobs on but the switch have been removed and don't exist any more.

     

    I have open case to TAC.

    I change the snmp version in de group folder but hit "Apply" instead of "Apply Save", my bad... :)

     

    Ever solved? I got the exact same issue.

     

    • New deployed Airwave 8.2.10.1
    • New deployed Mobility Controllers 8.5.0.5 (MM & 7210)
    • SNMPv3 settings are right in both sides but stay down.
    • Also reboot Airwave server, but didnt solved
    • Exact same issue as you descripted.

    Let me now if you have some information...

    Hi,
    this was in our test environment. If I remember right we contacted TAC and deleted it from the database.
