    Hi, All

We have OV3600 running on 8.0.10 and now we need to upgrade to 8.2.3. I found useful links in this but not sure is some of the steps still apply. The thread was few yrs back.

    http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Wireless-Access/AMP-7-7-will-discontinue-support-of-CentOS-5-RHEL-5/td-p/57254

We were also given steps on how to upgrade but not sure on the Airwave server AMP.

I am also not sure if my CentOS need to be upgraded before I can upgrade to 8.2.3.

Output from our OV3600. Can I directly patch to 8.2.3 using the CentOS6.6 below?

    [root@OVManager mercury]# cat /etc/redhat-release
    CentOS release 6.6 (Final)
    [root@ODC02OV01 mercury]#

    Thanks,

    Jun

You can upgrade directly.  You don't have to upgrade CentOS manually.

The instructions here:  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Mobility-Hero-Tutorials/How-to-Upgrade-your-Airwave-Offline-Upgrade-Jul-2013/ta-p/145703 are still valid.

I would make sure you have a nightly backup or do a manual backup, just in case...

Sorry for the confusion guys, I was just way ahead of my self. Scheduled OS released will be this Nov 2016. My boss just ask me to prepare.

    Thanks for all the feedback.
