airwave virtual appliance

Can I Install airwave on a virtual appliance like Vmware ..... System specification for that as i only see hardware appliance in IRIS.

We generally recommend 20% more resources allocation for Airwave installed on Virtual machine compare with the physcial server sizing recommendations.


If you have problem in accessing the Airwave sizing guide site, let me know below details, I could provide the recommeded sizing


  • Number of  Aruba devices monitoring
  • Number of wired devices
  • Number of VisualRF floor plan uploading to Airwave?
  • Does Report demand is high or low?

Keep in mind that we do post an OVA image of AirWave.  This image is specifically created to work with VMware.  By default, the posted image will load with the following specs: 4 core, 8 GB RAM, 80 GB disk.
