Hi 

I have installed the latest Airwave on a ESX for my Lab and everything seems to be ok , but I can not add any IAP´s to the Airwave.

Tried different things , but the result stays the same.

I can see the IAP under new devices but if I push the add button nothing happens in any case. The same for delete IAP or ignore IAP.

Any hints how to troubleshoot this ?  I suspect a Airwave problem

There is an option in Aruba  Instant to mention Airwave Server in Setting.

Logi into Instant Dashbordh > Setting 

Is it new Airwave installation server or old, are you not able to delete any down device from Airwave server aswell?

May I know the version of Airwave, if your server is in below 8.2.4 version code then you can try recompile code by running make command but before running make , it is better to check

/var/log/httpd/error_log and /var/log/nginx/nginx_error.log logs under system>status page for any error entry while trying to delete or add device.

If your server is newly installed Airwave latest version then first check logs to see for any error and later we can try recompile code but for that you need to take TAC help. We can not run make command from AMPCLI.

Try restart AMP services once from system status page aswell.

Hi 

it is Version 8.2.10.1 and it is a fresh ISO install from scratch .

Rebooted the whole VM several times and disabled/enabled AMP without success.

Log shows no specific errors.

btw. i have root access to the Centos , I guess that's enough to recompile Airwave ?

 We blocked root access to Airwave shell not sure how you got root access to CLI, if you have then execute command

#make

where do I have to execute make ?

/root/git/...... ?

btw. i was asked meanwhile the installation to add extra users.

We need to execute from this prompt
