    Hello,

The heatmap shows some areas orange, some red and some green.   It looks like those represent 45-75db

Can you elaborate on what your question is?   I assume you are referring to VisualRF in AirWave.  The colors represent the dBm of the AP.    Red is -45, Orange is -55, Green is -65, Blue is -75, Purple is -85.

Red is "very good/good" in this case.

Thanks - we are seeing red, orange and green - no purple.   Is green still acceptable?   Will they see diminished speeds or disconnectivity in the green zones?  (the red zone is for loading and unloading only - couldn't resist an airplane quote)

Typically when doing a predeployment survey, -65 is the target dBm (green in this case).  If your coverage has green, orange, and red, then you likely have a good coverage model.   Keep in mind whether you are looking at 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequencies when looking at this.  In a coverage model, you'll want this signal on 5 GHz as well as 2.4 GHz.

Is there anyway on the heatmap to show only the clients connected at 2.4 or just the 5GHz clients?

In AirWave, you cannot show only 5 GHz clients; when showing clients, it shows all.

Thanks - that would be a nice feature in the next version.

You can run reports to show only 2.4Ghz clients connected. You can also turn on client associations in VisualRF, blue links will be 2.4Ghz, green links will be 5Ghz.
