Hi all 

how can i restore new switch configuration in airwave version 8.2.9?

let say i have switch in airwave and the switch get fualty 

and i replace the switch and want to restore the fualty switch config 

to the replacemant switch.

can the airwave do that ?

Yes, Avia.

Airwave keeps the backup of the running config of the switch. once you add the new switch. you can push that old's switches configuration to the new switch from Airwave.

Once you add the device to Airwave, in the config page of this device, you will have the running config automatically backed up. This config gets saved in the group as a template.

Just add a new device to the same group, where you have this template, put it in manage mode, This template config will gets pushed to the new device.
