AirWave External Captive portal

    I have a captive portal solution for the Aruba Instant, it uses the local database of users and the final step is the authentication on "http://securelogin.arubanetworks.com/swarm.cgi"

     

    The solution works just fine on the airwave up until the authentication, since the url 'http://securelogin.arubanetworks.com/swarm.cgi' doesn't exist on net network.

     

    How can i adapt this solution?

    Is there another url for authentication? Are there any more parameters to send on the authentication?

    And are there any other differences on the captive between the instant and airwave, like the parameters sent to the captive portal, etc.?

    Hi acarneiro,

     

    I think there is some misunderstanding. First of all, AirWave has nothing to do with captive portal or authentication of guest users. 

     

    If the user reaches the Captive portal of the IAP and finally gets redirected to the URL you mentioned above, the domain securelogin.arubanetworks.com will always be resolved to the IAP itself as the IAP will intercept the DNS request.

     

    What is the problem you are seeing? Can you give us more details on this?
