Has Amigopod a MDM (mobile device management) capacity?
Aruba is thinking this for future releases?

Does not contain an MDM feature. There are quite a few companies that do this already. Not sure that Amigopod wants to do this in the future.

I was under the assumption that Avenda was going to be doing MDM support. Is this not accurate?

MDM is certainly an interesting topic and Aruba has partnerships with several MDM players. Both the Amigopod and Avenda technologies are focussed on the provisioning of secure network access for BYOD devices. MDM primary focus is the management of corporate issued mobile devices and protecting the corporate data that might reside on them. Features such as data encryption on the device, remote wipe, corporate application installs are all great examples of MDM features.

Please contact your local account team to discuss further how the Amigopod and Avenda solutions can help out with your BYOD strategy and we will be more than happy to advise on the solution that best suits your requirements.
