    What AOS version will contain Aruba App RF? And what is the timeframe for it's release?

    Is this only going to be offered on the new 7200 series controllers?  Upgrade pricing :smileywink:

     

     

    EDIT:  well I just installed OS 6.2.0.1 on my 3600 and they have the beta of the firewall dashboard... cool stuff by the way :)

    I have both 6.2 and the 6.3 Beta installed on a 651 controller in my lab - No new dashboard features with the 600 controllers- i think this is listed in the Release notes

    AppRF is not supported on the 6xx platform. There are simply not enough system resources for it to run.

    It is supported on M3's and 3xxx controllers

    AppRF 1.0 (firewall visibility) is supported on 3200XM, 3400, 3600, M3 and 72xx series controllers.


    AppRF 2.0 (DPI) will be supported only on 72xx series controllers that terminate APs. Older controllers can still configure AppRF (serve as master) but cannot perform DPI.

    AppRF 1.0 is visibility (just monitoring), AppRF 2.0 will allow for access controls.

    All 7 series controllers support AppRF 2.

    Also to note, AppRF on instant can now be sent to Airwave for reporting purposes as of the new IAP 4.1.1.0 release.

    There are no licenses.
