    Does anyone know if it's possible to use the fields on the Guest Provisioning Pages within Server-Defined Rules to assign guest users to specific roles?

     

    This is an ArubaOS 6.4 Mobility Controller, with PEF license, no ClearPass.

     

    I would like to allow Guest Provisioning to be done by front desk staff, but use one of the fields (optional_field*, or even comment, or name with a pattern match) to be able to place a guest user into a specific role/profile.

     

    I figured since there are field names, maybe the field names would be passed through and could be used by Server-Derived Rules.

     

    This would be a GPP setup, with captive portal, using the Internal database.
