    Hello,

I have a problem with an Aruba 650 Controller running ArubaOS 6.4.0.3.

I configured Campus WLAN for guest access and want to use the Internal DB of the Controller. So far, everything okay. The Guest-WLAN work correctly, guest-logon role redirect to the Captive Portal.

    NOW MY Problem:

In the Web-UI i can not enter the Internal DB of the Controller. (SECURITY -> Authentication -> Servers -> Internal DB)

When clicking on the + next to Internal DB nothing happen. I can not click on Internal DB, too.

To test an other way it created a Guest Provisioning Account. I can log in with the Provisioning Account, but when trying to create a new user, the user won't be listed after clicking on "CREATE" in the little POP-UP window.

Without Access to the internal DB of the Controller, I can't authenticate any guest users.

Please Help! I have no clue where the problem is.

    Regards,

    Thomas

Have you tried another browser or using the CLI

    Hey,

its not working with any browser:
    Internet Explorer

    Chrome

    Firefox

How can I enter from CLI to manual add users to the Internal DB?

It's not the solution the costumer want to have for their receptionist, but maybe a fist attempt to find the problem.

    Regards,

    Thomas

    Hey,

i tried to add a user manually..

    that was the error message:

Error accessing the Local User DataBase. Run "local-userdb fix-database" to fix the Local Database. Caution: fix-database command will drop the database and create a new one.Try to export the Local Database("local-userdb export <filename>") in case you want to save the existing data.

    BUT:

i can not execute the local-userdb fix-databae command!

    that is the error-message:

    Controller#local-userdb fix-database
                                 ^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

    trnordmann,

Do you have a master/local setup (more than one controller)?  I would try to add the user on the master controller, if you can.

    Hey guys,

@cjoseph: it is just a single 650 Controller, small environment

thanks for your help! I could solve the problem..

I saved the running-configuration and then WRITE ERASE ALL the controller.

After that I replaced the old licenses and copied the saved configuration back on the controller.

After that complete erase of the controller i could access the Internal DB again!

    Regards,

    Thomas
