CPPM can change port name on Aruba switch?

    Hi,

    I have a q. 

     

    Is it possible to configure a poilcy that auto update the port name on the Aruba switch after device authenticated successfully?

     

    If not, I wish the R&D will do that.

    Not possible via RADIUS but could be possible if switch APIs can be leveraged.

    So i suggest R&D will work for a simple solution instead of API. 

     

    In general, SNMP can do that, so why not develop a rule for it?

    Other people can vote on these requests, if there is a lot of demand for a certain item, they might be convinced to implement it.

    Changing switch configurations is an NMS function. We don't implement NMS functions in CPPM.

    I agree with Tim.  You should see what Central or AirWave can do to help with this.
