CPPM hanging on NetBIOS name when adding 2nd Domain

    When joining Clearpass to a second domain, it is hanging while "Trying to determine NetBIOS name".  Any ideas which would cause that to hang?

    Can the DNS servers defined in ClearPass resolve that domain and service
    records?

    We have added the DNS, so it does resolve the server.  It just doesnt get the NetBIOS name for some reason.

    Can you please capture and post the page from when the node is trying to join showin the messages?

     

    Can you confirm the time of this server is in sync?

    It was DNS in the end. The customer had the DNS but it was not resolving correctly between the domains. They resolved the issue and are good now. Thanks so much for the help!
