Can`t access to the Login Homepage from Clearpass

    Hello,

     

    my english is not so good, but i hope you can understand my problem.

    I have an Wifi Solution with aruba AP + Clearpass + Airwave.

    I have 3 VLANs in this Wifi Solution

    1. one VLAN for employee
    2. second VLAN is Management VLAN
    3. is a Guest-VLAN

    I will only allow Guests to access the Internet.

    Now i have created on the clearpass server an GUEST-SELF-REGISTRATION, but i don`t have any access to this homepage. WHY ?

     

    I think that these homepages are on the clearpass server and this server are not in the subnet of GUEST-VLAN. right ??

     

    How can i resolve this problem ?? any idea ??

    The ClearPass server does not need to be in the same subnet as the guest, but it needs to be routable to the guest subnet.

    Hi,

     

    thats correct, but our security team do not want reroute between this two VLAN.

    Is there another solution ? or is this the only solution ?

    Clearpass has the option of creating a second interface, that you can put into the Guest VLAN.

    that would be great.  I have to try.

    I`m a noob in this section. Is somewhere any tutorial or manual ?

    Or can you explain me in a view words where i can configure this.

    Hi,

     

    i can`t find the right position where i can change the settings.

    It`s a little bit complication for me.

    when i go to the tab "Go to Login" i receive the login page. Ok receive it because i`m in the same IP-Subnet right ?

    When i try to login via Wifi SSID "Guest" i do not reach the site. Because the guest VLAN is in a different VLAN.

     

    Now you told, i can change something, but where exactly ? I`m a noob in this section:-)

    this is in the policy manager section, not the guest part.
