Can't reinstall Aruba Via W10

    Hi,

     

    When I reinstall VIA (3.4) on my laptop (W10) it gives me an error. I've tried to find any info at Airheads and I've changed MaxNumFilters in regedit as one article suggests but that's not the problem. 

     

    Anyone with the same issue that could solve it?

    You're right!!

     

    The errors I've found in the aninst file are:

     

    ERROR aninsthelper 394 unabel to get the Adapter ((null)), close and exit 0

    ERROR anvainstall 58 UpdateFn failed!

    ERROR aninsthelper 1699 ANVAInstall error -1

     

    I attach the aninst if you need more info

    Do you have any old version Aruba VIA installed on your Windows PC, if YES uninstall and try again and also check if drivers of your PC is up to date, I see below message in log

    Hi!

     

    I uninstalled it yesterday, is there anything that should be removed manually?

     

    And I've just upgraded all the drives using the support assistant but I still can't install via. 

     

    Is there any extra info I can send you?

    Are you seeing issue on this particular windows machine or all windows 10 PCs?

    There are no other W10 laptops. I can't install almost anything in my company laptop, so this is a lab laptop...

    Solved. I did two things

     

    - Update W10 (no drivers, the OS)

    - Remove laptop from domain (i used it just for testing, it is not necessary)
