    Hi all,

     

    I have read through a few threads regarding similar issue as I am. I am facing the same problem as well, its just that user are not able to get IP and the captive does not prompt. I have done few checking steps by checking on the Aruba Controller CPPM redirect URLs and everything was correct.

    May I know whether is there any other steps I can check and any troubleshooting steps that I can do in order to solve this problem?

    Hi,

     

    If your client device don't get an IP address, is there anything blocking the connection to the DHCP server? I think about firewalls, wrong configured ip helper addresses.

    Are you using an ACL, is it located on clearpass level or on the controller?

    Can you reach the portal when typing in the URL on the client device?

    Hi,

     

    I dont think anything is blocking the connection to DHCP server.

    User are able to reach the portal by typing in the URL.

    Can you post the output of your inital role?
