ClearPass CA - 802.1x EAP-TLS

    Hi,

    I need to use ClearPass as a Certification Authority for 802.1x (EAP-TLS). Is it possible to use it that way ? And will I need an OnBoard licences for that CA ?

    Yes, Onboard is the ClearPass feature for issuing unique device < > user identities using certificates and EAP-TLS.

    Yes, you'll need the OnBoard license to enable this feature; but it will do just what you want.

    Thank you guys. Is there any cookbook for that use? I'm familiar with MS AD Cert. Authority with AutoEnrollment but customer wants to use ClearPass as CA.

    Everything is covered in the user guide, but you can always reach out to your ClearPass partner if you need additional deployment assistance and best practice design guidance.
