Hello,

I am currently testing ClearPass Device Insight.

A virtual Data Colelctor is available via Central.
It is based on Ubuntu.

Unfortunately the default login is not documented anywhere, neither in the online help nor anywhere else.

There is also no information about the Hardware Collector.

Can anyone here help me?

yeah I did.

But there is no default Login mentioned.

Maybe the documentation is for an older version of the virtual appliance ?

The Login comes right after the vm has booted up.

There is no initial config dialog, like it is mentioned here:

There is just the Ubuntu tty Login...

Ok, it is taking you to login prompt instead of config option in CLI? Did you try admin/eTIPS123 credentails?

Yes, youre right.

I tried several "standard" default combinations like admin/admin

admin/blank password an so on.

And now also admin/eTIPS123....they all did not work...

Below default credentials should work both for hardware and VM.

Username = aruba

Password = aruba

Just need to login into your Central account and click on the Data Collectors link and you will have the option to download the CDI OVA
