    Hi all,

     

    This is likely a simple one but I don't have a lab Mobility Controller at the moment to test.

     

    I was planning on setting up a Guest Portal (Self Registration) using a Mobility Controller and ClearPass. Instead of referencing the default internal FQDN of ClearPass (that it was setup with) in the Mobility Controller's captive portal profile, I'd like to change it to something like 'guestportal.company.com/guest_register.php' for example.

     

    Would this be as simple as creating a DNS entry so the clients can resolve this hostname to the ClearPass IP address?

     

    I understand that I would also require a public CA to sign a certificate matching this hostname.
