ClearPass Restore

    Fellow Airheads,

     

    I want to re-deploy my ClearPass servers in my cluster to meet the new specs outlined in the release notes. What are the general steps to restoring a subscriber on a few VM? This is what I was thinking:

    1. Take node backup.
    2. Drop subscriber from cluster and shutdown server
    3. Bring up new server with same IP/name/etc
    4. Restore database from backup
    5. Add to cluster

    Thoughts? Also, if I have an active an active subscription, can I just add the same subscription ID back to the new server?

    Here's the technote on this topic.

     

    You're missing re-join to the domain if CPPM was previously joined.
