    Hi,

The current I use C1000-VM to support 1K clients but I have planned to support more than 1K clients.

I am not sure I must to buy C2000-VM license or not?

    Please advise.

For hardware sizing see the Sizing guide.

    https://support.arubanetworks.com/Documentation/tabid/77/DMXModule/512/Command/Core_Download/Default.aspx?EntryId=33755

The C1000 (hardware) supports 1000 concurrent sessions. The limits for the VM's are almost the same as for the hardware. So if you have more the 1000 concurrent sessions it's advisable to upgrade to C2000.

Make sure you have also enough access licenses.

    Hi Willem,

    Thanks for answer.

I know how many concurrent supported in each model.

But for Cx000 (CPPM) license, does it need to buy for upgrade from C1000 to C2000?

No but I would say just do it. You can upgrade to a C2000V without a new license
