When creating a Wireless 802.1x GPO with the connection details and information, ClearPass send the authorization to VLAN remediation.

When creating the WiFi profile manually everything works properly and the right VLAN attached to port.


(Wireless Profile uses Certificate)

I have not seen differences in settings direct to the OS and through GPO. Please double-check that you are pushing the exact same configuration through GPO as the one that works via local config.

I tried to export the manually created wifi profile via netsh in powershell and import it to the GPO,

That didnt worked either.

 

I opened a TAC ticket and scheduled a remote session with the support and customer,

I think some settings is wrong in Wireless profile from GPO.

Did you try manually settings in wireless profile without GPO?

For me, it works fine.

Yea,
manually creating the WiFi profile locally is working

exporting the wifi profile via netsh with powershell then importing to gpo not working or either, creating from scratch the gpo with the exact options i created manually.

I don't think CPPM issue because it works with local.

Could you check your GPO wireless profile and make sure that compatible with windows version?

Did you check Use Windows WLAN AutoConig service for client?

WLAN AutoConfig service is running and enabled.

gpo compatability options when you create a new one is
*Windows 7 or later
*Windows XP

 

i'm choosing the first option of course and the workstations running WIN 10.

Issue resolved,

 

Customer had a collision with another gpo.
