i was wondering if ClearPass can manipulate the password input (if recieved readable), for example split it beyond the removing of a domain. and then send a part of it to authentication source 1 and another part to authentication source 2?

Do both usernames appear in both auth servers?  What type of auth is this and what is its purpose?

If not, you can set up multiple auth sources and if the user isn't found in the first, Clearpass will attempt the second in the list.

nope, that won't work. the idea is to combine a password and tokencode in the password field and send the combined value to the clearpass which then has to split it and send it to two auth servers.
