ClearPass upgrade to 6.5.7 fails

    Currently running 6.5.0.71095 and when attempting to install ClearPass Cumulative Patch 7 for 6.5.0, 6.5.1, 6.5.2, 6.5.3, 6.5.4, 6.5.5 & 6.5.6 from Agents and Software Updates - Software Updates the update fails every time with the following message:

     

    ERROR: Applying patch failed: Package upgrade failed
    Time taken to install this patch is 5 minute(s) and 55 second(s).
    Exiting with 255

     

    I have tried a few times restoring from backup each time and while the Time taked varies the results are the same. Any suggestions?

    Please open a TAC case for things like this.

    Hi! did you solve this issue? I'm having exactly the same issue and the TAC is busy :S

    Unfortunatly you will need TAC. They are the only ones that can delete the failed update to allow clearpass to download the update again.
