Clearpass 500 to clearpass 5000

    Hello

    If i got a clearpass 500

    And let say the requriement change from 400 devices to 2000 devices per day for clearpass guest

    it is possible to upgrade the clearpass 500 to a clearpass 5000 ?

    Or you have to buy a clearpass 5000 and add it as a subcriber?

    Or which is the best option?

    You would need to buy a CP-5K. You always want to use the bigger box as the publisher (outside of initial setup).

    I assume the simplest way to achieve this would be to add the CPPM 5K as a standby publisher then initiate a failover?
