Hi All,

Just running an install of 6.2 CPPM (Guest).

I've just setup a test registration page (all defaults). The odd thing is that once a user registers on it, the account inherits an auto-activation timer (of 120 minutes, see attached shot).

I really don't want this. Does anybody know where to turn it off? 6.0 doesn't do this (I've just checked), and I can't find where it's pulling it from?!?!

Note, in the screenshot, I'm running the clock down (shows at 79mins) to see what happens. Assuming it will become enabled?!?! Not good.

What does your 'form' look like on the 'register page' for this self-registration?

Is there a variable for start_time/activation_time in there ?

The start_time field is not enabled, and I haven't changed it from default.

The activation count down has now elapsed on the test account I created. It shows the activation as "36 minutes ago", but the account is still disabled. So I'm less worried about it, but still confused about what it's trying to achieve???

A couple things to check.

1. the clock on both the device reg and the CPPM server.

(I did a quick test and set the clock on my pc 7 min behind the server and it showed my account would be active in 7 min) I will have to check with engineering on it.

2. Is sponsor approval on? ( your screen shot shows a red circle over the username which normaly means the account is waiting for approval)

Although I'd set the NTP server, the customer's internal firewalls were blocking it!!!

Clock was 2 hours in the future!

I've manually set the time for the moment!!!!
