Clearpass Guest Reception account expiration

    Hello Airheads

     

    Is there a way to restrict which account expiration and lifetime options are shown to a specific Clearpass Guest admin user, for example

     

    reception users can only create guest accounts that are valid for 8 hours

    admin users can create gut accounts valid for 8 hours, 24 hours, 7 days etc.

     

    I've tried searching and can't find anything that does exactly what I want, but I may have not been searching for the right options.

    Hi.

    You have to:

    1. Go to Configuration / Pages / Forms & Views
    2. Duplicate for example "create_multi"
    3. Customize your newly created form by clicking "Edit Fields".
    4. When you are done customizing your fields go to Administrator / Operator Logins / Profiles and edit for example "Receptionist".
    5. Scroll down to the check box "Customization" and click to "Override the application's forms and views".
    6. Select the drop down box "Create Multiple Guest Accounts" and select you new form that you created in step 2.
    7. Done
