    Hi...

I've configured a clearpass guest with sponsor confirmation, however when i tried to send me an email i received the following error:

    ClearPass Guest>Configuration>Receipts>Email receipt>Test Mail Settings"

authentication failure [SMTP: STARTTLS failed (code: 220, response: 2.0.0 SMTP server ready)]

    From:

    ClearPass Policy Manager>Administration>External Servers>Messaging Setup>Send Test Email

    successfully sends a message

    Clearpass Policy Manager 6.6.9.102777

    any idea?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

In Administration » External Servers » Messaging Setup , are you using connection seucirty SSL or Start TLS and proivded username/password details then we need import SMPT server certificate in to Truist list or try disable TLS on SMTP and check the status.

    Regards,

    Pavan

    Hi.

I'm using starttls provided by username and password and i imported certificate to trust list and the issue persist.

I tried to disable TLS on SMTP and the status is the same.
